Valentine's
Please bear with the quality since I took it in the middle of the night with my handphone only.
This is their first Valentine's as husband and wife so I thought I'll just send them a mini card. This card is small compare to my normal size as I was cutting the card in a hurry and I accidentally cut at the line where I should fold.
This also the card I made after stopping for a few months due to work commitment so the quality also not what I like it to be. Hopefully, my subsequent cards will be better.

Overdue
In my previous previous blog I mentioned that I won a stamp from tickledpinkstamps...I've received this long ago when I went back to my home country but I keep forgetting to post it up.

I've actually won only the girl holding a lovely cupcake but I was really surprised to see another stamp inside!!! Its a skull with heart shaped eyes... Too bad...I couldn't use any of these since I left it back home...
I am in the process of making a few cards but I could not complete it as my idea ran out and also due to lack of tools. Hope I can find an alternative so that I can complete the cards in time.

1st attempt

Well, this is my first attempt to enter challenges. Also my first attempt to make a card without much tools (I only have my trusted scissors and slightly blunt pen knife). I would consider this card as too plain and cheap. Cheap as in not up to the quality and value wise. I used a file divider as the base for the card as the paper is thick enough and I got it for free since its an extra. I printed out some wordings as the background for this card. The picture is digi from Tickled Pink Stamp - Lil Christmas Frankie. I've used the bread date tag to act as the reinforcement ring the the wordings are printed on normal A4 paper only.I would like to enter my first attempt to:

Giveaway
I am still busy with work...but I've already have a card in mind. Now I'll have to work faster to get the work done before I can start making my card. Hopefully I can make it in time. Anyway, due to the extreme workload, I have not been doing all the things that I should be doing...not even ironing my clothes!!! So I just rush and iron what I need only and now the stack that I have to iron is growing!!! But I did manage to write a letter yesterday to my friend (part of the things that I promised myself), I think I mentioned before about the friend that I wanted to make it into my penpal^^.Saturday, March 5, 2011
My New Stuff(s)

The glue is not what I thought it was but it's still something I don't have so its good enough. But one thing that I don't like about the glue is the colour is very deceiving. I chose this as I thought it will go well with most colours of cards but after the glue dried, it change to a very dark shade of purple so I am a wee bit disappointed.
As for the pen, its very metalic so again it should go well with a lot of colour but there's a catch again!!! I prefer to do my craft with fine tips as I like small things and fine tips is suitable for my handwritting but this pen here is not fine at all. I am not very sure if its because its a new pen and full of ink that just flows out quickly (not the spoilt leak anyway).
The stamp I think its a gem as the shop is having a discount on this. And its something I can afford after the discount. Love the image but couldn't try it as my ink pad is back home and I don't think I want to get it here.
Well, this is not something for my craft. It's just I remembered I told my friend that I want to be her penpal after I left my first job since she is one of the rare people that still have penpal till to-date. As for the glue, it's for me to do my transport claims!!!
I just remembered, I bought something else as my craft tools but was too lazy to go and get it to take a picture. Anyway, it's a roller glue and I am using it on other things just to test it first rather than spoil my craft if I use it straight.
